A military dependent for the first 27 years of my life, I was born in California, the home of my father's family who originally crossed the plains in a wagon train from Pennsylvania. I ended up in Texas, the state of my mother's family who came here from the South before the Republic. Needless to say, we've experienced a broad spectrum of the real estate of this country having owned land from sea to shining sea. I have personally owned my own homes, rehabbed houses to create comfortable rental homes, and I am in the process of renovating my current home. From personal experience, I understand the housing needs of college students, young singles and families seeking their first rental, new and experienced home buyers, and investors.

After graduating with honors from the College of Charleston, SC with a B.A. in Fine Arts, I returned to Texas where I worked in the arts and as a REALTOR^® after receiving my Texas Real Estate License. I spent a number of years caring for family after moving to Bastrop where I had many happy times with wonderful students as a substitute teacher. Concurrently, I began my real estate investment career, obtaining and rehabbing single family homes and duplexes for rental. After moving back into Austin 4 years ago, I bought my home which I continue to improve and ventured again into the realm of real estate leasing and sales. I enjoy nothing more than helping my clients meet their home needs.

When not enjoying the company of clients, I spend time with my amazing friends, family, three dogs, numerous plants and many books. I also snow ski, water ski, camp, travel, ride horses, walk and hike the numerous green areas of Austin, and enjoy the local music scene as well as the local arts venue - opera, symphony, the Paramount, and local museums.
