Matthew was born and raised in Maryville, Missouri and is a 2002 graduate of The University of Missouri. His move to Austin was fueled by his desire to pursue music and to avoid the incredibly long disgusting winters he experienced growing up on a cattle ranch in Missouri. Matthew's interest in real estate began with a purchase of a farm in Missouri with his father at the age of 14. At this point Matthew thought, "Hey, these real estate dudes are pretty cool, I think I might want to do that someday."
